iPerf Reloaded

Network speed test with iPerf3

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 22, 2026

iPerf Reloaded (the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App does and does not collect.

Data we collect

None. iPerf Reloaded does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash-reporting services.

Data stored on your device

The App stores the following locally on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the App removes all of it.

Network activity

When you start a test, the App connects to the iPerf3 server address you enter. This connection is strictly between your device and that server, which you control. No other network requests are made by the App.

Getting started

iPerf Reloaded measures real throughput between your device and an iPerf3 server. You need to run an iPerf3 server somewhere reachable from your device.

Quickest way — on a Mac / Linux / Windows (via WSL) machine:

iperf3 -s

Then enter that machine's IP address in the App and tap Start Speed Test.

If you don't have your own server, public iPerf3 servers exist at iperf3serverlist.net.

FAQ

Why is my result lower than my internet speed?
iPerf measures the link between your device and your chosen server. If your server is local, the result reflects your local network — not your ISP connection.

Why does the test fail to connect?
Most commonly: the server isn't running, a firewall is blocking port 5201, or the IP is wrong. Verify with iperf3 -c <ip> from another machine first.
